Early Signs of Cancer That Can Kill You Silently

Your symptoms may be different from someone else’s. Here are some of the signs to look for:

– Persistent pelvic or abdominal pain;
– Occasional abdominal bloating for no apparent reason;
– Eating difficulty or feeling full sooner than normal;
– Urgent urination or needing to urinate more often than usual

Occasionally there might be other symptoms such as changes in the bowel habits, extreme fatigue, unexplained weight loss or loss of appetite.

Any kind of bleeding after menopause should always be examined by a gynecologist.

Symptoms may be classified as:

Frequent – they usually occur more than 12 times a month

Persistent – would not go away

New – they are abnormal and began to appear in the last year

Abdominal bloating, frequent urination, abdominal pain and always feeling full, could all be symptoms of ovarian cancer.

Be aware

You know how you feel when you are completely healthy, so if any unusual signs, it is best to keep a diary noting down the symptoms.

Talk

Talk to your gynecologist about frequent symptoms that are new for you.
